John, the footprint of the structure is approximately 2"x6-1/2"x1".....and there is a complete sidewalk base that adds to that size approxinately 1" overall....but the base does not need to be used.....

Great.  I'm feeling guilty about ordering a FOS kit, with the already thousands of unbuilt kits I have here, and now THIS!  I'm glad the new peninsula on the layout will have a city scene.
