Frank and Karl. I'm glad you guys are having at it. I t will be fun following along as I like the kit and I like the way you guys build stuff.

Karl, it didn't take too long to figure out what you are working on. And the stucco looks fine. I think doing stucco is tough because it seems to turn out a little different each time I do it, no matter which method I use.

Another stucco building from FSM. I'll have to keep going back to my notes from the Bailey's build to avoid problems with the stucco.

What does George Sellios suggest for the stucco on this build?

Jaime,

A. Pour one teaspoon full of water putty powder into a clean paper cup. Scrape the top with a straight object so the powder is level with the top of the spoon.
B. Add 1/4 level teaspoon of water to the putty (don't mix yet).
C. Add 1/4 level teaspoon of full strength white glue (apply it right from the tube). Take your 3/8" brush, dip it into plain water and use it to scrape the glue off the spoon and into the putty and water. Use the same brush to stir the mixture into a creamy consistency. This should be enough to do all five walls. If not, more can be mixed later.

Worked perfect.

Thanks for the update. Frank.

I still have some water putty left from my Bailey's build.

Hi John:

Thanks sent the following pics to George and he liked my stucco.  Here they are. Let me know what you think.

I'm stuck on that stucco !!!  8) ::)

Hi Donato:

Just build stuff and put it on the shelf or give it a friend like I do. I'm gonna have a whole on his layout.

Karl that's what I've been doing.  I have a sweet little boy living next door and we consider ourselves buddies.  So (being that I have no children) I give him presents for birthdays and Christmas.  Last Christmas, I gave him a nice HO scale starter train set.  This Christmas, I am giving him a whole bunch of structure that I've been putting together for him.  So far I have about twenty structures completed, mostly plastic ones.

Hi Donato:

Sounds good to me.

I made a little more progress.

Looking good Frank. Very neat construction and the subtle weathering is perfect.

I've placed my order but I'm curious about the signs. Are the ones on your build included in the kit ?

Cheers

Looking good Karl.  I've never done a stucco wall before.  Scary!  I'll be following along!

Bagman,

Yes, every sign that is shown is included.  There are many additional signs that still need to be used.

Hi ALL

Windows, Doors, Glass and shades are installed. You have to make sure you scrape all the stucco off the insides of the frames. The are an extremely tight fit.

Hope you like it.

Karl
