And the same process for the dock bumpers.

Oops...didn't adequately get glue on the back of that inside bumper...curling on me. Easy fix.

At this point I deviated from the instructions. Here you are instructed to attach the two side walls to the front wall and then add the back wall. On a previous MMW kit I regretted mounting the back wall later...had a bear of a time installing the windows. So I got antsy and went ahead and painted the burglar bars and the cinderblock wall. Went with the straight white as suggested in the instructions. Considered a concrete color but the instructions call for the use of weathering powders to tone it all down.

The top of the building front gets another couple of layers of brickwork...a really nice detail that gives the front more dimension. Here are the two pieces...

...and the larger piece in place, then glued and clamped.

And here's the brickwork done and the building front ready for brick painting.

Masked-off and read for painting. Even though it's called "Flat Red" it's really more of a bricky-brown.

Great Dave , and what a wonderful kit , some of the best brickwork I have ever seen.
I love photo's, don't we all.

Got some touch-ups to do along the tape line, but this will have to be it for the weekend.

Nice work Dave and a nice kit.  May have to give them a try.

Placed an order last evening.  I may have to wait until they come back from the current convention to fill my order.

September brought with it health issues that pretty much kept me from the bench. Did manage to finish Hansen, though, and happy to report 've come through and am back at it. Here are final pix.
