Franklin & South Manchester Railroad - 2016 - From the Air.

This time around I'm going to breakup the F&SM into sections using the layout map. We will go around the layout starting in Muddville and will cover all the sections in an area before moving on to the next section. So Franklin will start with tower 1 in section R 11, we will then move to R 10 and R 9 then move over a section and do Q 9, Q 10, and Q 11 etc. Remember that each section is 2 feet square so we can have a number of structures within a section.  We will work our way around the benchwork in this pattern. We will see if we covered the whole layout with pictures. As we come to a particular structure, we will look at all the photographs I have from every angle then move on to the next structure as we did in the previous thread. I will also post a reverence page if you want to refer back to the previous thread for a particular structure. The index will not only serve as a guide to find our favorite structure, but will also give us a structure count. At least until George changes something.  My guess is that it has already happened. Now, I know how to sort the pictures.  Let the sorting begin. Posting to follow.

It's time to move into area Q 9.  Here is an overall photographs of this area. Mulligan's Grocery Store is behind the tree in the center of the photograph.

The first structure down the hill is John W. Mayary & Sons.  Yes - look at all the details on the street where very few visitors to the F&SM have ever laid eyes.

Next door we have Franklin Pipe.  We will start with the front of the building this time.

At this point we are going to move all the way back up to the top of the hill and work our way down again starting with section P 11.
