Hi John:

Thanks for the great photos of the Richfield Gas Station I scratchbuilt from a photo for George. It is also available as A kit From Bar Mills As Bud Smiley's Gas Station.

Thanks Again:
Karl

Very nice build Karl - There is a very short list of people that have a build on George's layout.

Wow - Dave  I had to google that when Karl posted his answer.  Sure enough.  Very cool.  George has had a lot of fun naming his structures over the years.

I notice something new in every batch.  I also had to call George and tell him where Tommy left his tools. For those that are wondering what this is about.  Tommy gets blamed for anything that goes wrong on the F&SM.  Just ask George.

We did find a grinding wheel off his Dremel.

MASIGMON

Guys, I know I have said it before & I will say it again THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE PHOTO'S!!!
I love what George did with the Church.  I like many other modelers can say the 1st kit we ever built was a Campbell Kit.  I hope no one will take this the wrong way about Campbell Kits quality but it is amazing how George can take a kit like that & make it look like a limited run kit with a little paint & weathering & a vine going up the side of it.  Does anyone know if that kit comes with "stain glass"?  Stain Glass & lighting would be a nice touch
Keep the photo's coming

Mike,

You are very welcome. I especially like John pictures. He went through a lot to get the angles none of us have seen. To my best guesstimation, he only has a couple thousand more to post. :o :o

Funny I just looked at my "to post" directory and there are 3000 + files/pictures.  I think 2000 that I will post is a good guesstimation.

Tom spell checker doesn't like your word but it works for me ;) . The big question is when - I will keep plugging along at it.

You are correct in that "guesstimation" is not a word in the sense that Webster recognizes it as such. It was a play on words based on the Guesstimation Game.

Now you know the rest of the story and we now return this thread back to JS.

I went looking for the Sandhouse kit #180 in the pictures and could not find it. Is it posted?

I'm not aware of a complete Sandhouse kit on the layout.  I believe some of the individual structures may be scattered around the layout. I will be looking for them and point them out if I see them.  I have the sandhouse kit on my workbench so I will know them when I see them.
