It takes a number of water towers to support all the activity in Colbert Yard.

This large round water tower is near the turntable.

Thanks again John for all these wonderful photo's , when I one day visit the F&SM I will just look and talk and take it all in , I won't be needing to take any photo's thanks to this wonderful thread.

John, Thanks for the Photo's of the Brick Engine House.  Does anyone know the MFG of the Brick Engine House?
Also some one needs to call the local police.  There looks like there has been a murder inside of the Engine House.  One of Georges Little People are down.  I guess it is true glue will only hold up so long
Thanks again

Thanks Mike

I will add it to the list for George. He wants me to let him know about anything that is a problem.

A few of these pictures are blurry but I include them because they give us some information about a particular angle of a structure. I think it was getting late in the day when I got to this area and my arms were having trouble holding the camera still out on the end of that stick.

John, I think I answered my own question.  The brick engine house is a Tom Yorke short line engine house.  Looks like George used two kits & also widened it for two engines.  I always liked the look & now I know why.

You are very welcome. I hope everyone finds these pictures useful.  This last time that I visited George I was there for three days.  I took pictures for 2 1/2 days and then put the cameras away and spent four hours just taking it all in.  There were a lot of times when I was thinking - I hope I got a picture of that.  As I'm going through the pictures, I'm remembering those details from the pictures in my mind.
