Hello folks,

I'm just doing a introduction post for myself. I'm an old time model aircraft builder but recently I decided to make a Z scale briefcase layout that has turned into a trunk layout. LOL So I have discovered the joy of model building again in these lasercut architectural models. I've been lurking around the internet picking up tips on weathering techniques and have learned a lot from the posts on this board. Here are some of my first builds. Sorry about the crumby picture quality, they are phone pics.

My first build, Animek models Ingalls Family Farmhouse

Animek models Dorothys House

Animek Models Ralphies House

Animek Models Gazebo and the farmwagon from the Ingalls kit

Microtrains Train Station painted in 1920's Canadian National colours

I've since weathered the train station and it looks much better. I've really enjoyed what I have built so far and I will be watching posts here to pick up tips on how to make my models even better! Thanks for posting!

Wainair,

Welcome to the forum. Lots of great modeling here.

Z scale is way to small for me but it appears you have done a good job with the very small structures.

Those are really great "little" models!!  Very much looking forward to some Zee  (ZED for us Canadians!!) models. Would love to see your layout as it comes together.

Pretty neat for Z scale.

I agree, it is tiny, but I have repaired some for my LHS.
