Hi Andy:

I'll be checking this one out. Does it have decals? Can't wait to see how you make out with it.

Karl

Polux

Interesting one....

Can I ask if you will use the Alclad stuff for the paintwork?

Karl, it does not come with decals. I was thinking a private carrier for the ice house.

Pol.lux, not really sure what those are. I will probably use a rattle can silver and flat acrylic craft paints

Open the box and here is what you get.

Now to clean up the flash and wash.

Would like that but in single axle. I model Maine Central and state of Miane had a restriction on dual axle trailers for many years not sure when they changed it. Scott H

You could change this to a single axle by cutting off one set of springs.

Sylvan sells a shorter version of this trailer with a single axle. You would probably have to contact them to get the reefer unit though. I'm building one now for Tom to help with his shortage of Diet Pepsi.  ;D

ak-milw

Raymo, If you are building it to haul Tom's DP you better get the bigger trailer.

Raymo

Maybe I'll do doubles like UPS or FedEx

bparrish

Dan...

If you're building a semi box to haul diet Pepsi to Florida you better put on about six axles as you'll get busted in Georgia for over weight.
