Thanks Jim. Got some more done today , looks like I'll need one of those etched metal bender things though, ordered one , needed it for some other projects too.
I love photo's, don't we all.

Jan....

This is amazing.  I can't believe the detail that is in there................

OK........ I lose ! ! ! !

I know when I'm beat ! ! !

Bob
Did you ever notice how many towns are named after their water towers ! ?

Janbouli

Thank you Bob , it's 1:35 scale so there should be a lot of detail , I hope I can paint and weather it accordingly later on.

Painting and weathering is what military modeling is all about, I'm not very experienced yet , this is my 3rd military kit, my first one was a Russian KV2 that I was quite happy with.

Jan, that's a great looking tank!
Military painting and weathering is a whole 'nuther ballgame (or golf game  ;D ) I'm fascinated by it, but wouldn't have the first clue how or where to start.

Thanks Joe , I watched a lot of video's before I started on that tank. Luckily mistakes are easy to cover up.

Thanks Bob. Here's what I have done the last 2 days, don't know if I will get anything done the next 3 days , Mike knows why.  ;)

The main deck assembled.

More details under the deck.

Photo etched parts for the steps and radiator , more on this later. Ordered a bending device for these and many more photo etched parts on other kits.

I thought this was 1:35 scale and not n-scale.

More details for inside the cab.

The hood comes in a nice separate box in box.

The hood right out of the box.

And with all the doors and details assembled.

The cab doors with grab irons.

The 4 parts of the cab ready for priming.
I love photo's, don't we all.

Jan,

The photo etched parts will really make the difference in the look of your loco.

I DVR'd the Ryder Cup and will watch the highlights later this evening when I know nothing else is on.

You are doing a very clean and tidy work!! Excellent!

Is a big model, so the secret for a nice final look, will be on the paintwork. Colour modulations, sun blanched, grime stains......don't be afraid to improve new techniques!

Janbouli

Thanks Tom and Pollux .  I'm going to be painting it when I have the time to do it right , my airbrush is waiting in anticipation  ;)
