It looks great! And a sunny day - Wow - haven't seen one of those in awhile.

Bob, Jan, Steve, Tom, Frank, Karl & John: I belatedly thank you for the comments!

I work at a snails pace but I have been chipping away at this and I think I am just about finished. The good thing about taking pictures of one's models is that it gives you an opportunity to view the work from a different perspective. I can see a few things that I need to tidy up but I think I can officially say that I broke through the yellow box barrier... I finally built an FSM kit!

Comments, suggestions or tweaks are more than welcome...

Great work Bobby, one thing that I really like is the painting and weathering of the cast details, those barrels have been done so well.
I love photo's, don't we all.

Really nice modeling work, Bobby! Everything looks great- the coloring, weathering, and details are all outstanding. I can be a bit slow in my modeling also, but mostly because I take my time to make sure everything meets the high standards that I place on myself in my modeling.  It looks to me like your time was well spent because that is a really fine diorama that you have built!

Beautiful kit. Good finishes and colors.

I agree with the others, very well done. The pictures of the finished diorama really set the scene.

Great job Bobby!  Anyone would be proud to have that build on their layout.  Your first FSM build is excellent.  Two thumbs up!   ;D  ;D  ;D

Wonderful diorama.  The colors/finishes are excellent.  Now just don't be like me and wait 20 years to build your next FSM kit.

Bobby,
What can I say that hasn't been said before by all the other great modelers comments.  I do have one word I can use that would cover the proper description of the work you did on this first build you completed.

After some thought (just like you did on this build) I can only use one word which is left in the English language that hasn't been used by all the other great comments listed on this very cool build.  Which BTW you did an excellent job on the documentation of each step by step process of painting, wood cutting, subassemblies, weathering, detailing, foliage, picture angles, I could just go on and on because you set a high bar for the rest of us little modelers.

But all that is neither here nor there!  I have to use one word that simply covers and describes and reflects the work you showed us that you are more than capable of doing for great inspiration!  Oh yeah, the word is the biggest word in the world.

I think your build is:  Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!     Thanx Thom...

This is a great looking build.  I agree with you that photographing a model really helps with the finishing touches.  It's like looking at it through a magnifying glass. Again, it looks great.  So now, what are you going to build next?
