Found out a quick way to thin your kit stash. Have a friend here in town with a layout and I had him bring about five friends over to peruse my stash and pick what they'd like me to build for their layouts. Whoa! I've got six projects lined up! Banged this one out last week for one of the guys who's also a Sopranos afficionado.

Nice job, especially the stucco.

Thanks, Jeff. This stuff makes it quick and easy-peasey.

Very neat idea Dave!  Well done on the build too.   :D

I'll have to give that textured paint a try next time I need to stucco something.

Hahaha , so I found out it was sold in the Netherlands by a DIY store called Karwei , and the nearest Karwei is the Wiebachstreet 77A in Kerkrade , I am laughing because Wiebachstraat 77A is the adress of the Golf Store I work at and the building used to be , that's right , Karwei DIY  ::) ::) ::)

Dave,

Wonderful job on the build. I love the stucco job, it looks natural. I'm off to Lowe's tomorrow to get me some of dat  (sic) stuff.

Been using the textured paint for stucco for about a year or so now and it's great and if you need some exposed brick just paint and mortar the brick and tape it off with little pieces of blue painters tape or artists tape. Tried all the other options and this is just a breeze !

Hi Dave:

nice job on the structure especially the stucco. Guess where I'm going? You got it the hardware store on the way home.

Thanks for the tip.
