Love it! Great way to "break the train"...one of my favorite mini-scenes on the FSM...that one's a little roughed up though

The whole thing looks wonderful Tom!  The bridge is a terrific addition to the scene.

I hope you found that stain tub useful.  I think it speeds things up a bit.

Hi Tom,

The weathering on the bridge looks very good.  The colors are just perfect.

Hello everyone. I got knocked off the web for a couple of days and haven't posted to your comments. I'll do that later this afternoon/evening.

I also have some layout updates to share.

The bridge looks great! It's amazing how life changes without the internet - even if just for a few days.

John,

You are correct. I first thought, OMG, what am I going to do! Then I realized I'd do the same thing I did as a kid, prior to TV, cell phones, girls, internet, filling the wood box and my mother making me pull sand spurs out of the yard for .10 an hour.

I'll work on the layout and then read for a while.

Over the past few days I was able to get quite a bit done on the layout. Not big projects but just cleaning up some and finishing others.

I finally got the oil stains down on the corner gas station area.

I used Pan Pastels and their sponge for the stain.

Here is an overall view of the East side of the layout.  From here to the end, South wall, is 34 feet.

I also added weeds down the middle of the tracks.

I just realized I need to paint the ties on the bridge.
