Hi Steve:

Thanks. Glad you are enjoying the build. Big kit and lots of work.

Hi Guys:

Been working on the main roof for the supply shed. I don't like using paper strips on the peaks so I used separate cap shingles. Each Is 1/8th inches square. Here's a pic before I painted it so you can see the shingle easily. A finial casting goes at the top.

Hi All:

Roof is installed on office building and a few extra crumple up newspapers were added to the platform.

Hi Guys:

Next are the roof canopies and scenery around the office buildings.

I really like the 2 types of roofing on the one building. It gives the building character.  Nice job Karl.

The roof looks great! I have put two cedar roofs on my gazebo in the back yard.  The first time I used cedar trim for the peaks - the second time I used individual shingles on the peaks and it looks much better.  Just like in your model the extra work really pays off.

Hi guys:

Didn't get much done due to a family function this weekend. Got The truck scale and the gas pump built. Have to add stair between office platform and upper deck along the tracks. Hope to get office glued down, stairs and scenery added around the office.

Here's a photo. Hope you like it.
