The BLI H10's finally showed today. They have some nice detail to them and run clean so far. To be safe I don't think I will try them on Tom's ovalix, strange things happen down there in O town.

Nice!  Very nice!  You're a very wise man, my friend, keeping these off of the ovalix.   ;)   We'll be taking a trip to BLI's store next Friday to drop off my new SW1500 off for repairs.  You're more than welcome to come along if you're available.

You and Kris really need to get to the PRR Museum in Strasburg someday.   :D

Thanks Bob, so far they run perfect.
I would really like to take that trip to BLI if you have the room. Keep me posted on your plans ;D
Strasburg is on our bucket list. I would love to see that area in person.

You are one funny guy there Cutler! My ovalix is only 1% grade. Can I help it if a BLI diesel burns out on the 8th loop? No siree, not me or my strange looking ovalix! Now, I would understand if it burned on the spot. I gave Reading Bob plenty of opportunities that day to say it was a motor burn. He, however, insisted it was a short caused by faulty manufacturing.

Tom ;D

PS: It did smell burned to me and I know what burn smells like.!

Yes Mr. Tom I would have to agree that you are an expert on the smell of something burning!! You do have the experience from what I have heard so far.

I just wanted to share the final resting place for Tom's structure SRMW Currier and Sons Cabinet Makers which is now known as Langford wood. I told Tom what I was looking for in this area, and he came though with the structures. I wanted the area to look like a working scene and Kris added some grasses and weeds which enhances the area. Kris and I have learned a lot since joining the forum. We want to thank everyone for sharing their ideas and techniques which helps us all benefit in this wonderful hobby.
Here are a few pictures of where we are so far in this area.

Now we are heading out to that pool. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Bill and Kris,

Great job on bringing the scene together. Makes me want to go to Langford Wood and buy some lumber.

What a great scene. It ties together so well...the black ballast, grimy fences, the steel road bridge and the crazy roads and buildings on grades = Northeastern coal hauler.

Nailed it. Hope to see it sometime soon...John

Thanks for the great comments John. That bridge in the back round is a copy from a photo from the late 30's early 40's at Gallitzin Pa.
We plan to have the SBG over to the layout once it cools down a bit. Hope you can make it then.
