I've been mentioning that I have been working (very slowly) to build a freight house for the Ulster & Delaware line that supplies the interchange freight for my Delaware & Northern layout.  I've attached a progress photo of the model along with some snaps of the former U&D freight house in Arkville, NY.  This is now in use as the passenger station for the Delaware & Ulster Rail Ride. I did my best to capture the "feel" of that structure while designing the freight house to fit into the available space on my layout.   I have also included a shot of the Stamford, NY U&D station to better illustrate the colors used by the railroad's "intermediate" paint scheme.

I also included a shot of the handcar shed.  This is a Northeastern Models kit I built some time ago and fortunately had painted green.  I added the brown and orange trim colors and called it "close enough", even though it does not match the architecture of the U&D handcar shed in Arkville, NY.  Of course, that leaves the door open to a trip to take measurements and photos of the existing so I can scratch build a more representative model.
