It's time to do another build thread. I have been searching the internet trying to find a reference build thread on South River Model Works kit number 120 Threadwell Textile  and was unable to find one - so I will post my build of this kit for reference here.

Since I had already opened the box before I decided to do this build thread a traditional box opening picture is not possible.

Here are a couple pictures of the contents of the box spread out over my workbench.

Thanks for following along.  I have been doing Mountain surgery this morning to make room for this build.  Stay tuned.

I've got the bowl of popcorn on my lap!  Really looking forward to this one, John.

My dilemma when I was in Scranton in 2015 at the expo was do I buy Theadwells or Thorndikes?  I could only fit one of those mammoth kits in my luggage! As it was I had to drag all I bought around the States for 4 weeks before returning to the land of the long white cloud.
In the end I went with Thorndikes because of all the castings - but it was a very tough decision!

Cheers, Mark.

John,

I'll be following along on the "E" ticket ride.

You are going to need a real big bowl of popcorn. I can't remember for sure but I think I bought this Threadwell kit at the Scranton EXPO. I have managed to come home with at least a couple red and / or yellow boxes from the EXPO. Especially, when I can drive. I may end up selling a few of them because I won't have enough space on the layout. Thanks for following along.
