That's going to be a really nice looking building.

Thanks Curt. It was really cool to be able to get a feel for what the two structures where going to look like, together.

I only managed enough time today to accomplish two tasks - I glazed all the window castings. and painted the red brick portion of the building. You can see all the window castings clamped for handling and drying, in the background. The next task will be the painting of the stone work.  I plan on using the same technique that I used on the Threadwell's structures.
The mortar for the bricks will be one of the last tasks in this process.

For progress photographs for, tonight. I did a couple what's on my workbench pictures.  On my detailing bench I'm paint rocks, lots of rocks. I'm using the same technique as I used for the Threadwell's main building on the stone work for Delabarre's. If you look close, you will also see a small trackside shed that I'm building from castings that I bought from Jimmy at the Narrow Gauge Convention.  I'm painting it using the same technique, while I have the chalks out.

On my layout bench, I'm started the bracing for all the clapboard pieces for both Threadwell's and Delabarre's. Once I have all the bracing in place and dry - I will be starting the subassembly process. Once again, when you combine to big kits into one build - you have lots of pieces to keep track of.

Thanks for stopping by the thread. The "weird looking plastic bottle" is a new glue bottle that I bought - so far it works real good. I bought one for each workbench and fill them from a gallon glue bottle.  Cheaper buying glue by the gallon and I'm not chasing a glue bottle trying to figure out where I left it. Will see how long it takes to have all of them on the same workbench. ;) ;D

John,

Looks like you may be short on clamps. If so, I'll loan you some of mine. ;D ;D

Thanks for the offer Tom.  I picked up another 10 at the hardware today. I use them things for everything.

Thanks for stopping by - I keep working at it. I sure enjoy it - the days go by super fast when I'm in the layout room. Today, we had a sunny day so the yard work had to take priority.

Update: The last couple of days have spent painting the individual stones of the rock castings and cutting strip wood for the bracing on the clapboard pieces. I'll take some progress photographs this evening. My winterization projects around the house have been cutting into my modeling time this week.
