I will be traveling by air to get to the EXPO.  Can anyone recommend a way to pack a structure along for the trip?

thanks,

Mike Engler has managed to travel by air to multiple shows and ended up winning first place each time. He's figured out the square foot entries travel the best as carry-on luggage. If you keep tiny details securely glued or packed separately it helps a lot. Call your airline in advance and ask for dimensions of the overhead bin for the aircraft you'll fly (there is no guarantee the airline will use that aircraft on your flight though).

Whatever you decide, be certain to pack some tools and supplies (glue, scenery, paint, etc.) separately as you will more than likely need to "touch up" your model once you arrive at the show.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Jake...

I've not dealt with this but Jaime seems to have a good response.

More importantly...........

I brought a dio to Expo last year. It fit in a plastic Rubbermaid container. Carried it on the plane...they never even opened it at TSA...just ran it through Xray.
