I built this Clever Models Maintenance Shed a while back. It really irritates me when someone mentions paper/cardstock models and they immediately start talking about background models etc.  The reason I am irritated is simply that it isn't the material used that makes a good/great structure .. be it cardstock or stripwood or styrene or plaster or .. whatever you use .. it is the ability of the modeler. This model for example .. it costs $6.95 ..you download the pdf and make as many as you wish. YES .. it takes time to do it right .. layering the cardstock as an example .. but IF you take the time you can sit it right beside a craftsman kit. I guess I should say that I tend toward a 'mixed media' .. using whatever works best for me .. cardstock, stripwood, Tichy windows .. just don't get fixated on using styrene .. branch out and look at something else that works as good or better.

That looks great Ed, and I agree , it's not the material but the man/woman who does it. Maybe even more skills are needed with this then real wood.
I love photo's, don't we all.

Nicely done, I'm a big fan of downloads such as Scalescenes and using different media.
