After traveling around the east over the last weeks I now fully understand that you eastern modelers really have that regional "look" nailed.

Very cool.

Thanx
Bob
Did you ever notice how many towns are named after their water towers ! ?

Chet

That is one sweet looking build. I don't know if my eyeballs could handle anything like that any more.

MAP

I like that technique on the sign you used Bob.  It's all coming together nicely.  Any more progress photos?

Thanks Tom, Eric, John, Sam, Karl, Bob, Chet and Mark (whew!) for the kind comments and following along.  Here's a few shots of the main structure as it currently sits.  I've added most of the details (except for the pigeons) and all that remains is some touch up with weathering powders and flat finish.  I'm working on the surrounding structures but before they get glued to the base I'll have to pave the streets.   :D  More on that to come (soon I hope).

Great build, but, dam, the pictures reminded me of how much I miss that purty green grass and trees
in Floridy!!  8) 8) 8)

We mowed the yard today (probably for the last time this year), so I'll think about you when you're
mowing on Christmas day!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi John, Gnat, Tom, Cuse, Ken and Karl,

Thanks for the kind comments.  I'm busy working on the supporting structures and will post an update on them soon.  I won't go into quite as much detail on them because some of the construction was done at the same time the main stucture was being built and would just be a rehash of the same steps anyway.  If I come across something previously uncovered I'll try to include a step by step.   :D

Thanks for the comment on the colors Karl.  It's hard to go wrong when you use the colors George did.   :D
