Looks fantastic, Bob!

I'm looking forward to seeing it at the Expo as well.  How do you go about showing up the night time look at the expo?  (which looks amazing).

Cheers, Mark.

Bob, you have done a fantastic job on this build. I have really enjoyed following along as you went. Top notch work.

Hi Dustin,

Thanks for the compliment and following along.  Both are very much appreciated.  This has been a long one but a fun one.  I hope to post some photo's of the finished diorama next week (fingers crossed).   :D

First rate craftsman work as usual, Bob.  Can't wait to see it at the Expo.

Jeff

What Jeff said.  See you at the EXPO.

Thanks John (and again to Jeff).  I really appreciate it.  I'm looking forward to seeing both of you at the EXPO.

Last time (only time) I attended the EXPO was back when it was in Strasburg.  There was a module there that was populated with your structures.  If I recall correctly it wasn't until the third time I stood there examining it that it dawned on me they were paper structures.   :D

Sorry you won't be at this one.  Hope to meet you at a future EXPO.

Hi Mark,

Thanks so much for the kind comments.  They're very much appreciated.  Hmm....I hadn't thought too much about showing the lights at the EXPO.  I could hook it up to some batteries but it wouldn't look the same with the lights on.  I wonder if Jimmy, Hal, Doug and the rest of the EXPO crew would mind keeping the lights of in the room.

Actually when I give it to Robert (assuming he still wants it) at the EXPO I was going to let it up to him to decide whether or not he wants to put it out for display.  I think I'll take a few more night time like photo's and print out a few that could be put next to it to show the effect if he opts to display it.

Perhaps there could be a special night time viewing set up?  Like Friday night a 9pm (or whatever suits).  That way all the lighted models could be displayed together to show off their wonderful night scenes.  Just thinking out loud.

Cheers, Mark.

Are you thinking of the one Sue and I did, using paper plans from Clever Bros.?

That would be exactly the one I was thinking of!  Sorry I failed to give credit where credit is more than due.   :-[

Thanks Bill!  I can focus on finishing up those CCK Houses now.  They're starting to come together.   ;)

I got to see this project up close and personal yesterday.....absolutely amazing.

The build and finishes were great and the lighting was impressive (even using Slims' stuff where there's a chance of the whole thing burning down  ;D ).

Wonderful build Bob.....I'm sure John will appreciate all the time and effort you put into this build.....great work!  8) 8) 8)

I think everybody but me must have gotten a Fox Run Milling kit. Here is another one that just showed up on RRLine: http://www.railroad-line.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=44510    There is going to be a separate category at the Expo contest for Fox Run Milling kits.

And Jaime told me they were impossible to find.

Thanks Greg and Mike.  Wonderful build over there on RRLine.  Thanks for providing the link Mike.  I don't belong to that forum.  If you happen to post over there please tell Steve what a terrific job I think he did with this kit.

Now for some 'final' photo's.  I say 'final' because I realized, after taking the photo's and uploading them to the forum, that I forgot to add the pigeons!  I'll be doing that this weekend but you'll just have to imagine what it looks like with pigeons or come to the EXPO to see 'em.   :D
