I decide to add window shades to only the two windows in the garage and not to the windows in the office.  I have a sheet of white paper I painted with Depot Buff that I cut into strips, slightly wider than the windows.  Then I cut random lengths from the strips.

I applied some Elmer's around the windows.

And added the blinds.

Here's the rear wall with the sign in 'painted on' and the window shade in place.  ;)

Last picture for today but it's finally time to start gluing walls together!  Hurray!

More next time around.  Thanks for following along!  ;D

Coming along great Bob !!
Looks fantastic, weathering shows a reasonably well maintained building that gets lots of service, and the signs are very well done.
Enjoying the build and following along,
All the best and be well,

Bob,
In talking with Dave last January at the Springfield MRR Show he indicated that he was looking to retire and sell the business.  I ordered a couple of things from him earlier this year but just noticed the following notice on his website today.   Looks like he sold the business and the new owners will be maintaining his inventory, business and website ...

JL Innovative Design has been purchased by Costello Manufacturing JL Innovative, Durango Express, and Railway Express Miniatures have been purchased by Costello Manufacturing. As we settle into our new home in Western New York, you will begin to notice some changes. The first one is our presence on social media. Please like and share our page on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/JLInnovative we plan to use it to announce new products and sales. We will also be redesigning this website to make it easier to navigate and easier to purchase from us. Until it is redesigned the old page will be up and functional. We thank you in advance for your support.Sincerely, Chris and Michael Costello.

All the best,
--Paul  (no affiliation to JL Innovative or the owners, just a satisfied customer and glad to see his line continuing)

Thanks Paul.  I'm certainly glad you like it so far since it will be going on your layout some day.  ;)  It's growing on me.  I'm in the unique position where my workbench is in my living room (I have a very small house and a very understanding wife) so I can see the build even when I'm not actively working on it.  Heck, I can even see it while I'm at work now that I'm working remotely from my dining room table.   :D  I find myself staring at it from a distance and time and judging what I like about it or where I can make some tweaks.  The lighting is going to be a little bit of a challenge but I can't resist adding it.  That's all Slim's fault.   ;)

Great stuff Bob , thanks again.

You're welcome Jan!  Glad you're enjoying it.  Haven't quite settled on what my next build will be yet but I've got a few things in mind.  I still have some time to spend on this one before I get to that point though.  ;)

This is coming along very, very nicely.

Thank you Bob!  Appreciate you following along and commenting.  I'm currently working on mocking up some interior details since I'm going to light it up and there are a lot of windows in the front.  We'll see how that goes.   ;D
