Good morning!  Happy Thursday.  Storms blew thru here yesterday.  I tried grilling chicken in-between them and wound up having to hold an umbrella as it rained, snowed & hailed on me all at the same time!  No modeling for a few days...I need to break that cycle!  Be safe.

Morning Mark and all who follow,

No workbench time for me yesterday aside from digging through some paints for a few minutes trying to settle on some colors for the current build.  I sure am looking forward to the weekend.

Have a great one!

Morning,

Spent yesterday bending 6 gooseneck lamp fixtures and managed to solder two 603 SMC LEDs for the Engine House.

Morning All,

For a change, I actually squeezed in some bench time around 9pm(when I'm usually in bed)...I drybrushed the roof on my Pendleton Marine Build, added the dormers, and assessed what's next...I had excess energy after a challenging Aikido class and put it to good use. Next, I've got loads of castings to finish and apply, a couple of awnings to build and a loading dock. It's been a very long time since I've powered through a build, so I'm feeling quite satisfied (even as I see some "rookie" mistakes due to impatience show up again). I'll post some pics soon.

Have a great day!

Been AWOL for a stretch.  Bet you never missed me.

Chilly in Philly today following front that moved through midday and dropped temps 20 degrees.

All be well.

Good Morning

Glad to see you back Larry! Up late as I had to take the Boss to the ER. She had very sharp pain in her lower abdomen that kept getting worse. Turned out to be Diverticulitis, not fun but she will be fine.

So today I have a train club swap meet, hair cut and who knows what lined up. Have a great day.

Good morning,

JIm, hope your wife feels better as the day goes on.

I did get some bench time in last evening.  I'm working through several ideas to finish the large junction wharf on the town end of my layout. I started an older FOS freebie: Big Lou's Hot Dogs.  Nice little kit to get me warmed up for something bigger in a few weeks.

Good morning! Well, I broke the trend, yesterday, and did get in some bench time. It sure felt good. It warmed up enough this morning to melt the snow that we got yesterday - sure sorry to see it go. ;) ::) I hope everyone has a great day.

Morning all.

Past few days the family and I have been struck down with what we're hoping is not COVID. Whatever it is, it sure has knocked us all off our feet. Test on tomorrow to confirm what's what.

Not done a lick of modeling in the meantime. Got some catching up to do when the energy is back!

Good morning. Cold front came thru yesterday afternoon in Central Virginia as well. Trying to clean up the train room but it seems like a never ending task.

Drove to my parents this morning at 7, it's about 1 hour 15 min drive , to take my dad to the hospital for 2 appointments , I had barely entered their house and they received a call from the hospital the doctor was ill  and the appointments had to be changed to another date .  Well , so I had some breakfast with them and a walk with my dad and then went home again , of course not a waste of time , love seeing my parents , but mixing the pleasure of seeing them with taking him to an appointment is clearly better.

Hope you all had a great day.
I love photo's, don't we all.
