Good morning!  Survived Henri yesterday, with a lot of rain and a little wind.  Got back on Saturday from our annual fishing trip to Canada. Luckily the border opened up on the 9th, and with lots of hoops to get through we made it in. Had a great time and caught our fill of fish (catch & release).  Now back to some railroading.

Morning all,

Had a good day at the workbench yesterday.  Lot's of small stuff primed and ready for final painting so that'll keep me busy for a while when I can get to it.  ;)

Have a great one!

Good morning! I'm working on the railroad this morning. We are back in the hot sticky weather here. My only adventure outside, yesterday, was too grill some dinner. I tried to sit in the gazebo in the evening but it was just not comfortable. I hope everyone has a great day.

Morning. Spent about an hour at the bench yesterday mostly cleaning and trying to organize. An hour was all I could stand without a lot of pain so I gave up. I'll see if I can get another hour in today.. small steps.. :)

Before Henri got anywhere near us, we lost power yesterday morning at 6:30.  It was back in an hour, the cause was "animal".  For the rest of the day, we got showers, heavy at times, and moderate wind.  Today, more of the same.  So all-in-all, Henri was a bust here in SE NH.  But That's A Good Thing.

Otherwise, I've been pondering scenery in the visible staging yard.  I got some 2mm foam to glue between the tracks to bulk up before applying ballast.

This was posted on a FB forum.  What is remarkable is that the building still stands.  I never thought that anything with a Spanish influence existed in the SW part of the state  Whomever did the sign support must have been a pipe fitter at one time.

Good Morning All  (barely),

Have chores today and hope to ballast 4 more ft of main line. That will mean the main line is about 75% complete.

I hope everyone has a good day.

We continue our Caribbean cruise, today in Aruba. It is raining off and on. Wife is with friends shopping so I have come back to the ship to continue my learning of C+ and programing Arduino. I find it interesting but learning the language is coming much slower then it did in college. I also brought a bunch of castings needing painting for the FSM sawmill kit I am working on at home. I am about halfway through them. So all in all a good day.

Glad to hear the storm did not hit as hard as expected and Dan good to see you are recovering, if only slowly. Have a great day folks.
