Thanks so much Jamie for your time to post these great photos for those of us who couldn't make it to the convention.  8)
Maybe one day the whole forum will join up at one of these shows and have a good time together.

Here is a small break from the regularly scheduled program.

I am a H U G E fan of Malcolm Furlow. I was tickled pink the I saw a built up entry of Malcolm Furlow's Saratoga Mine at the contest room. It was built by Kevin Kuzman. Kevin did an amazing job. When I first joined the hobby I used to drool over Furlow's work in the magazines. The next best thing would have been to have met Furlow himself at the convention. Maybe one day....

Here are some photos of the Saratoga Mine.

The only other one I've seen built (in photos only) besides the marketing material for the original kit is the one built by Karl O.

Enjoy.

It's been my pleasure. If you make it to one of the conventions I'll buy you a refreshing beverage.

How are you?!

I am glad I was able to make the convention this year. I missed the one in 2019 and well 2020 was a complete dumpster fire for all accounts.

Was good seeing you again, wish show was better set up but it is what it is.
Will miss next  year in Tacoma  but plan on Denver.

Sure was great to hang out with you guys. I hope you had a good show. Your line of kits is way cool and it's amazing you offer kits in multiple scales.

My notes say this is the Motive Power category. However, during the awards ceremony they called it the Internal Combustion category. Oh well, it's just toy trains after all.

1st Place - Steve Austin

2nd Place - Leslie Davis

3rd Place - Allen K. Littlefield

And the remainder of the entries.
