Morning all.

Off for the next 8 days.  Heading out to Door County Wisconsin tomorrow where all my children/grandchildren will gather for a few days.  Need to pack and gas up the van today.  

This is an Avro Lancaster seen at the airshow.  Didn't get to see it fly, though.

Good morning, all.  I need more lumber for my trestles project.  Northeastern Scale Lumber's website has problems, so I called and had a nice chat with the lady taking my order.  "A while ago I found some stripwood I ordered -50 years ago-, and you still package it the same way.  Small rubber bands top and bottom, and a little yellow note with the size of the wood."  She laughed and said, "Yup, that's how we do it here."

Afternoon all,

Breakfast with friends this morning followed by yard work.  Next up will be an old movie and some workbench time.

I love these old signs that turn up from time to time when a building is demolished.
