Morning all.

I'm feeling pretty perky today. I think i'll try some increased walking today.  I'm on a 10 pound weight restriction for 6 weeks, so I can't do much.  And I don't want to over do it. Need to contact my PCP about a follow up visit, but I'm not keen on a 60 mile round trip just for labs and to say hi.

Jeff sounds like a good start. In Florida we are enjoying some really nice weather, today will be 78. I hope to get some yard work done, work a little on getting ahead on taxes and then some bench time. It is great to see some of the old members starting to check in again, I hope it continues. Everyone have a great day.

Good morning.

Jeff, glad to read that you are improving.

The day started here with the temperature about half of Jim's forecast high.  I went down the rabbit hole of research yesterday looking for information on NYO&W boxcars.  I realized I had probably gotten too engrossed when i saw it was midnight.  I hope to avoid that today and spend some time actually modeling.

The farmer that is working my ground has started bringing his equipment this morning so he can combine the corn he grew on my fields.  I'll have something to watch today when I am not modeling.

I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable day!

Morning all,

Jeff, great to hear you are feeling much better today. Like you said, don't over do it.

I'm working on the layout today and see how it goes.

I also need to decide on a build for the challenge. Need some clarification on the post though. I'll reach out to Jim.

Have a great day ya'll.

Morning all,

Glad to hear that you're feeling well, Jeff!

Let's see, this past weekend we bought a new Smart TV (unplanned, the old not so smart TV died Friday night) and three new phones.  I'm tired of tinkering with technology.  I thought I gave that up when I retired.

Not much on the agenda today so I'll spend a little time at the workbench, and I'll peruse the stash for something to build for the challenge.  I have some ideas but maybe something else will jump out when I see what I actually have.

Have a great one!

Morning, sunny and 50 with a few leaves to clean up around the house today. Rain coming after 4pm. Jeff sounds like your on the road to recovery. Doug keep planting those bulbs, it will look great next year to dress up the new home. See the Forum had several new members check in recently too. Candy store has been very busy, 5 weeks until Christmas. Trying to work on a few projects every evening for 2 to 3 hours. Good Afternoon Friends,  Had a bit of time this after to work on the bench and get to a few projects, one an HO Scale plastic merchants row kit that we are putting into condensed part of our city.  Been quite a few years since I've done anything plastic, but I am planning on giving it a realistic look to make it blend well with craftsman structures.  The idea is the extreme need of brick in our city so it doesnt look like if General Sherman came through with a match it all went up like Atlanta.

Im also going to finish up a 1/35 scale figure of a WWII European woman purchasing cheese from a vendor in Narbonne France.  She will be standing on the sidewalk in front of a Fromagerie shop which I have also recently completed with interior.  All part of what will be a full street scene with the Canal De Robine passing along the front of it, a cafe and US Allied vehicles and troops passing through the cobblestone street.  Quite a long project.  LOL.  But taking shape.

The other work today will be some touch up of the FOS Scale Metzger Building that in the process of disassembling the old layout during the building of Brett's new house, became slightly damaged on the rooftop features and the billboard and some of the sidewalk details that inevitably pop off during any removal.  should actually be fun and I might add some further details to jazz it up some more!

Have a great day modeling!
