Morning all,

Pam and I have bowling at noon and then late lunch/early dinner with bowling friends.

Maybe I'll get some layout time in late this afternoon.

We are getting some cold weather this Friday, maybe in the low 40's - we'll see. That is plenty cold for me.

Have a great day everyone and stay safe.

Good Morning Tom and all who stop by. I hope everyone is enjoying the fall weather, we've had a couple of really nice days here as as Tom said we are expecting first cold snap of the year at end of the week. I have been slowing working through the CAD design of an arch window made using the 3D printer. The goal is to produce a window were the glass slides into a pocket so mullions are on both sides and no glue is needed. We will see.

Other than that just the same old, same old. Off for second cup of coffee. Have a great day.

Good morning,

It's going to rain all day today.  Which is good because we need the rain.  The other 156 bulbs I ordered are scheduled to be delivered today, so it will be time to get muddy later this week.

I got a flat with a large screw right in the shoulder of the tire on my Moostang.  2 tire places said "no way" with regard to plugging/patching. One suggested _I_ could try plugging it, but they could not.  The good news is that it's my 'summer' tires/wheels and it was time to swap on the 'not summer' all-season wheels/tires so I have time to decide what to do.  This tire model is no longer available so if I decide to replace it the question becomes how many of the tires do I replace.  Oy.

Good morning.

Foggy and frosty start to the day, with a forecast high near fifty degrees.  Tomorrow's forecast is about the same, then reality sets in as we will have more seasonable temperatures, as in colder with some of the white stuff making its presence known.

I did get a little modeling done yesterday, but have to admit I spent much of the day once again falling down the freight car research rabbit hole.  I've been slipping down the slippery slope into research mode already this morning and need to break the cycle if I am going to get any modeling done today.

I hope everyone has a safe and productive day!

Morning, very tired from all the yard work yesterday but it was all done before the one plus inch of rail fell. Strong winds in the evening too so a few branches may need cleaned up today. My son just said look out my window...well 2 very tall dead trees came down which are now our property...at least they fell away from the power lines...Tommy

Morning all,

Next up a trip to the gas station to fill the tank (about a once-a-month occurrence these days) followed by the grocery store and then some lunch.  Afterwards I'll give the lawn a quick mow and then I'll hit the workbench.

Have a great one!

Morning all.

Didn't sleep well last night, but have had a two hour nap this morning already.   Flight simulator 2024 is downloadable today, so will probably be flying a Cessna later today.  I haven't "flown" the microsoft product for at least 20 years, so this will all be new.

Need to reprogram the 4-6-4 as it runs "backwards" and needs some other changes.   I hope to get at least that accomplished today.

Morning

I took by blood pressure this morning and it has climbed 20 points from a few days ago. I don't remember eating salty foods or exercising; it must be some form of stress. I wonder what it could be...
