Howdy Ron, 

The backdrop paint does make a difference in the scene. Before you know it, although it is staging, you'll be encouraged to add grass, trees, shrubs, building flats...  ;D

I decided to take a break from building the boxcars and did a little more work on the backdrop behind the staging yard.

The issue I have is that I painted the the layout background about 15 years (seems like yesterday) and I have to remember the techniques used when it was painted.

This update is called

. . . . . "Where Did All the White Stuff Come From" . . . . .


I decided to continue around the mountains as it seemed to be a good place to continue.
