Good Morning All,

6 degrees here this morning.  57 in the basement this morning.  I may have to talk to some HVAC guys about getting heat/air in the basement. More concerned about humidity long term, but 57 is a bit cool for working.  :)

Yesterday I received (finally) 6 sound decoders I had ordered in late December.  The local UPS location was a black hole for over a week.  Tracking status would indicate parcels had arrived in Athens TN and then NOTHING for over a week.

Hope you all have a great day!

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening Doug.

Starting out here with a feel like temp of 31F and continuing rain from yesterday. I worked on the kit for several hours yesterday and after chores have a bunch of strip wood to color.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Cold morning,

It's -1F today. Staying in bed for a while...just until May.

Morning all,

It's sixteen this morning and snowing.  Much warmer than the last couple of days and we might get up to the freezing point later.

Hump day for me, in between my two twelve hour shifts.   Slept late, still a bit tired.

Maybe some work on the FSM kit roofs today.

Good morning.

Four below zero F with wind chills in negative double digits.  Sunny at the moment with clouds forecast to roll in later and a high this afternoon of double toothpicks.

Not sure what I'll get up to today outside of doing my best to stay warm.

i hope everyone has a safe, warm, and rewarding day!

Morning all,

Don't care where you live but it is damn cold everywhere.

I'm working on the challenge build today.

Stay safe and warm everyone.

-150 wind chill with -10 actual temp and wind 10-15 mph.  We've added a couple inches to the snow from the lake effect.  I feel fortunate having lived here all 76+ years.  We've dealt with this before.  Those of you across the Gulf coast, that is some amazing conditions you're facing.  Please be careful.

I worked on my layout yesterday, I'm putting in facia mounted throttle panels. Each area with switching will have a panel in reach so I can use a tethered throttle while running solo, 99.999% of the time.  I do have a full NCE radio and repeater but with Wi-Fi apps, phones seem like the future.  Big IF as my home Wi-Fi is located at the farthest point away from the command station. I'm not knowledgeable enough about Wi-Fi.  If it works from the computer to be attached at the command station or relies on the in-house system.  ::)

That's all I've got....everyone be well, all y'all in the South be safe... :o

Morning all,

Breakfast with friends this a.m. followed by a trip to the bank to order some Euros for our trip in June.  Pharmacy/Grocery store run next.  Plues, we have a guy coming by this afternoon to give us estimates on replacing our sliding glass doors.  Not sure if I'll get to settle down at the workbench today.  :P

Have a great one!
