Howdy folks,

Curt, Rick, Ron, Philip, Larry, and Philip, thank you for your encouragement.

Today I focused on removing the not-so-thin window membranes.  They were over 1/8" thick and difficult to clean out.  I finally resorted to a hobby knife in fist approach versus a holding like a pencil approach.  I traced the outline of the windows until the knife blade broke through.  It took several hours this afternoon to finish them, but the three castings are now drying in the paint booth.





I will either start assembling the castings or painting the stones next.  I prefer to paint the castings when they are flat, before assembly. We'll see.

Mike, try lightly wetting the plaster corner before you start scribing away.  That should soften the plaster a bit, and make the carving/cutting easier.
