Michael in an of earlier post said he "really liked the 'Gap' ".  I do too; so here's a few shots of the 'gap'.  Some of them are from the perspective of "Desperados Waiting on a Train" to quote Kris & Willie....Hope they look ok.....

There's a quirk/bug in this forum software (and actually I've also seen it in MRH's forum software, too.)   After you create a post with photos, there's a delay when -something is going on in the background-.  A couple minutes later, if you refresh the page view, the photos will appear.  "A couple" seems to be as long as 15 minutes!

I asked about this over on the SMF Forum help section, and never got any real answer why this happens.  There was some mumbling about 'caching images' but no actual -explanation-.

Thanx Dave, thanx Phillip, thanx Curt, thanx Michael, thanx Jerry, thanx Larry C.,and thanx Ron;

  I'm tired today-(Monday), I put in about 4 to 4-1/2 hours today.  I started by taking everything ya'll saw yesterday down and began installing the scenery and the ramp up to the 'I Me Mine'.  Then I put all the scenery back the best way it would fit in; given the 'new surroundings'.  Next I scavenged all my 'leftover' track and began the art (task) of mocking up how closely the track will be able to follow the designed plan.  With the exception of the repositioning of the depot in Dilapidated for space considerations, and deciding to move all the track in about 1" from the edge which meant using a curved turnout to split of the siding for Phartz & Schmelling in Dilapidated; everything went pretty much as planned.

  I'm glad I moved the track back, as it gives me more room to put some details in; which always helps in making the RR run THROUGH THE AREA instead of 'encompassing an area' with track.  I think it looks more 'realistic'.   However the depot in Dilapidated is now reversed to the viewer; the trackside bay window isn't facing the viewer anymore and the 'witches hat' cuppola tower isn't as noticeable as before when it was facing the viwer....OH WELL....

  Tomorrow I'll glue down the rest of the ramp-(the pink foam portion) and probably start on the lighting and valance renovations in order to connect it to the new part of the RR.  I'll also run the power to the lights in its' permanent configuration.  Up till now it's been temporary.

  Thanx again so much for stoppin' by......the comments and ideas are so helpfull......keep 'em coming..........
