Morning all.

Happy Mother's Day!

Going to be another sunny and 80 degree day here.  I will mow later this morning, watch the Red Sox game this afternoon and dinner with the wife this evening.

Sunny day here, leaves are out on most of the trees (particularly the oaks, which come last), although they're not full size yet.  It's the time of year when every day looks different from the previous day.  I made Mothers Day brunch using some leftover waffles from a couple weeks ago (frozen, thawed, and toasted in the oven.)  They were basically Egg McWaffles, adding ham (Spanish Serrano ham), cheese (Provolone), a sauce made from mayo, yoghurt, garlic powder and sweet paprika, and poached eggs.  That was a hit.

So off to the train room...  A bit more pick-up, and then I think I'll dig out the Winchendon project.  I need to figure out what part I was waiting for when I put this away, I think it was some workers to operate the machine tools.

Morning all,

Happy Mother's Day! I'll be handling the cooking this evening.  Ginger roasted chicken with potatoes and pearl onions are on the menu. A little workbench time before I have to start the meal prep.

Have a great one!

Mornin,' All!

Green is beginning to show here in the northern mitten, where the temp is in the low 60s, headed for 72(!!) and the sun is actually shining!  The forsythia has shed most of its yellow in favor of green, and even the oaks are beginning to show signs of green!  Looks like a day to either head downstairs and work on the layout for next week's Op Session, or sit on the deck and bask in the sun.  Decisions, decisions....

Happy Mother's Day to All!  Make it a great day, and stay safe!

Good afternoon, all. I got some sun this morning hanging laundry, will get more this afternoon taking it in.  In between, proofread and looked over the Forum. My wife is making a Korean hot pot for dinner tonight - her favorite but it's a long haul to the nearest Korean restaurant and today they'll all be crowded.

All beautiful for the Mother's in our lives.

Maples are full and the Crabapples and lilacs in full bloom.

Have a great day all!

Happy Mother's Day;

Quiet here today. The wife took the special day to go to Orlando and shop with two of her sisters.
Boy they love to shop. So I did some clean up work around the house and have goofed off on a workbench project making a small watchman shed. Not really motivated for something more, it has been gray and rainy off an on today. I plan to take the bride out for dinner tonight and perhaps listen to music that is going on in a village square tonight.

Hope everyone has had a great day.

Today's accomplishment:  I added a shelf to a tool stand:

The challenge was cutting stuff to fit the 8 degree slope of the legs.
