Morning all,

Wow, June already.  Gonna be a warm one here, headed to 83 degrees.  Heading out for my walk while it's not too hot.

 8) Sun and 40s going to ~60(?) the weather folks did get some credit later in the day for the hazy smoky sky

The crescent moon was almost brown after dark.

Lazy day on hand prepping for wild life adventures tonight.

Summer like 80s forecast later in the week.

Cool but sunny and breezy in SE NH, high today 60.  No Scotch Club last night, maybe a rain check for tonight?

I did complete one project.  Last night I finished the 800 page biography of Napoleon.  It's a very good book, and despite the length, doesn't drag at all.  I'll head down to the train room and do something, I'm a bit stalled waiting for parts on a couple aspects of the project.  If nothing else, I need a major put-away of all the various size of Evergreen strips I've pulled out so far.

Good afternoon.  I've been transplanting trees this morning and this old body will be reminding me of this for a couple days.  It would have been a simple job if I didn't encounter roots from adjacent trees.  I also ran into some large concrete pieces which I'm going to investigate.  There's an old plantation house about a half mile from here and I assume this whole area was part of it.  I'm calling it my archeological dig.

Bob asked to see the boxcar I worked on at the club yesterday.  Here's a picture.  It's the first shot, I used oils.  I'm going to replace the plastic stirrup steps with metal ones.

OK, how do I add a picture?

George

Thanks guys.

Good afternoon, all.  Was up late last night picking up my eldest at Logan (BOS). The latest revision to traffic patterns created a total cluster**** at Terminal B, even after 11 PM.  Probably 8-10 state troopers trying to keep things moving and it still took me 15 minutes to go around. Sheer luck the kids found me and boarded while I was stuck.

I planned to model today but breakfast with kids and reading breaking good news have kept me downstairs.  Having looked over the Forum, I'm off.

Late afternoon all,

Beautiful weathering job on that boxcar George!  That's a skill I desperately want to work on/improve upon.  Thanks for sharing the picture.

I spent a pleasant hour or two at the workbench this afternoon.  Watched a few YouTube videos on our upcoming trip as well.  Getting excited about that one.  We've been waiting a year or so for it.

Have a great one!
