Morning all,

Sorry, we only have bagels and cream cheese available this morning. Tea as well. Coffee lovers are on your own. There's probably a Starbucks nearby. Right next to another Starbucks.

I did manage to get some workbench time in over the past few days. Next session should be 'glue the walls together' session.

Preparing for our next trip. I don't expect driving up I95, 26, 77 and 81 will be quite the same experience as cruising the Rhine River.  :(

Have a great one!

Well, yesterday was OK, a bit warm.  Scotch Club went as scheduled, the theme was "American Single Malts."

Today is hot and muggy, 85 at 11:30 heading to 91, dew point is 70.  (I've learned that I'm more sensitive to humidity than to absolute temperature, at least for double digit temps.  Dew point above 60 and I start getting miserable.)

I'll head down to the train room and probably prime/paint the line shaft parts.  I'm still pondering the belt shifter part, one suggestion is to cut the shifter arms off the weak white metal shaft, and drill out for a brass shaft.  The other idea is to carefully scrape down the white metal arms to fit into the bracket holes.   The other thing I'm considering is a small forge in one corner of the building.

Good afternoon. I spent most of the morning watching the Tour.

We're in the 80's today with showers that are raising the humidity to uncomfortable levels.  I have a bunch of indoor chores to do, but I may make it to the workbench later.

Good Afternoon;

Spent the morning doing so easy yard work. Got some bench time in and took a nap. Probably more the same this afternoon. Have a great day folks.

Good afternoon, Bob, Dave, George, Jim and others who stop by.  Aside from computer work, I've pulled some weeds (including Bittersweet) outside and hung a load of laundry. After checking the Forum, I'll shift up to the attic and lay some track.  If I get too hot I've got my daughter's pool next door, or the Gulf of Maine somewhere around 60F.

600 sitting on the deck after a chilly day in the UP. Thunderstorms and lightning with power fubars half the last night spoiled the fireworks we expected to see.

The Doll's has enjoyed her son here from AZ where he said it was 110+ there :P

Quiet up here all weekend, it's been nice.

Dad it.
