Morning all,

Air Show Day!  I'm headed out to Davenport for the Quad Cities Air Show.  I'll meet my brother for breakfast, but as he had back surgery 3 weeks ago we figure all the walking will be a bit much for him.  He seems to be doing well post op.

Here's a Staggerwing in an unusual paint scheme.  Apparently some where used by Britain in WW2.

Good Morning;

Beach Stagger wings are beautiful planes, had a friend who had a fire red colored one. Flew his family all over the country in it.

Not sure what I will get involved in today. Lots of ideas, not a-lot of motivation. We will see. Weather has been OK, cloudy and some rain but keeps temps in the 80's. Off for coffee have a great Saturday.

Clouds and possibly some rain today in Michigan.  Temp starting out in the 700 range.

The Doll, a daughter and grand daughter are off to the Renaissance Fair in Holly, MI N of Pontiac.

I may have some projects to tinker with, ya think?

Stagger Wing is a cool craft, I worked with a fellow that said his father had one but I never saw it.  I can't recall actually seeing one.

Be well all, enjoy the weekend.

Good morning everyone.

Sunny and low 90's in Seattle today.

Jeff, have fun at the airshow.

Hitting the gym this morning and then REI to maybe getting a new pair of hiking shoes.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all,

Waiting for a thunderstorm to pass before we head off to the grocery store. After lunch a little workbench time, I hope, and game night this evening.

Have a great one!

Rick, our favorite restaurant in Seattle is on the waterfront.  "The Salmon Cooker" is kinda like a New England lobster pound, you order the food at the counter, then take your stuff to picnic tables in the back.    https://www.thesalmoncooker.com

Nothing beats dockside fish places to enjoy the fresh regional seafoods. We have a couple favorites in the UP. One fishery I visit very close to home often has smoked fish just out of the smoker right from their own boat.
