Morning all,

Got my walk in first thing this morning. After I flip through the e-edition of the paper I'll think about what king of trouble I can get into today. Yesterday I made a little progress on the current build and inched closer to the finish line. More of the same after lunch.

Have a great one!

Tree butchers here today ridding us of some overwealmed and pest laden pines along a side of our place.  One 25' Colorado blue in front is realling opening up the sight lines for invaders.  It seems there is a fair bit of poison Ivy beneath them.  Good working crew seem well equipped for the work. The last tree guy we had was a fast talking scammer. I've dealt with a number of tree guys over the years, this crew seems the most professional.  One guy I hired to trim some trees at my mother's some years ago was frightening to watch as he flitted from tree to tree with a Stihl in one had and grabbing the branches as he flew around like Peter Pan from tree to tree.  Cooincidently he was in the area news this past weekend as a missing person after having seizures and wandering off.  Too many blows to the head?  ::)

I had a out of schedule vet visit for one of the cats that wasn't planned.  $$

Bench time after the day was experimenting with static grass, what a sloppy endeavor that is.  Will see how it looks later today after I run the shop vac.

The Doll has a late afternoon dental endeavor. $$ More bench time later a possibility.

ACLTom trying some of your Diet Pepsi and it ain't too bad.  Our local DG runs out my Diet Coke early most weeks. Soda pop is obscenely priced as it is.  One of our ops guys is retired from Pepsi and he said it is amazing just how little of the stuff in the bottles is their syrup, just water and fizz.  Vernors Ginger Ale is mere drops of flavor per container.

Enuf for now.  Everyone enjoy the day.  750 and sun all day here, 80s most of the next week with little in the way of rain we "need"

Good evening, all.  Checking the Forum after a long day ballasting track etc. at Seashore.  Karl, I have a special place in my heart for Vernors. One of FTP Software's early, large customers was a university in Michigan. Our contact there liked our service enough that he got into the habit of sending us a case once or twice a year. I don't think I've tasted it in 25 years...
