Morning all,

Headed to a high of 58 degrees here.  The siding guys didn't start yesterday as it was supposed to (and did) rain on and off.  Everything's wet now, and no one's here yet today.  I did walk around the house with the job manager and foreman to review everything.

More studying Medicare stuff today, but I think I've figured out what plan and company.

Working on a track issue today as well.

I don't think I'd have the patience to build a trestle like this.

Dr Jeff, the big decision on Medicare is between a Supplement and an Advantage plan.  We went for the former, paying for a higher end plan that includes some travel coverage.  Several big companies that offered (and heavily promoted) their Advantage plans have pulled out of the market.  There are significant issues if you change your mind after picking either Supplement or Advantage.   I also selected a new prescription plan, that's where the Medicare website works -great-.  You enter your actual prescriptions, your preferred pharmacy, and it does all the calculations for you for costs on each offered plan.

I'll probably do some work on the machine shop today, while waiting for a used Android to use as a throttle for the DCC-EX testbed.  That's due either today or tomorrow.

[ 8) Sun, clear and chilly in Michigan again. Currently at the cat doc,  :( been messing with a sore that won't clear up. So far they're into me enough for a nice brass Big Boy.

Goooooddd Afternoon, All!!  It is bright and sunshiny here in the northern mitten, although there are indications of clouds on the western horizon.  Most of the Major, Heavy Duty Big-Time seasonal outdoor is done, as the snow tires went up on the second car this morning.  I have five yards of road gravel arriving tomorrow, so I should be able to fix the "drop off" where the new asphalt met the dirt road to the shed a couple of years ago, but that area is not used in the winter, so....

The Muse is beginning to return, so there is hope for actual progress on the railroad, too, which is Good! And we've returned to Op Sessions up here, which is also motivating.

Best wishes to all trying to navigate the new insurance stuff....

Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!
