Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 51F heading into the 70's. I think we're supposed to get rain this weekend.

I slept horribly last night due to neuropathy so I'm pretty tired and I still have the pain but less often. MOH suggested soaking my feet in Epsom salts with Arnica in it. After I get cleaned up I hope to get a nap in.

On a more interesting note while walking I was able to see the rocket launch and the booster returning for landing.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning Y'all,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Enjoy the nap and hope your feet feel better.

It's 13 going to 26. Starting tomorrow we'll be in the high 30's and low 40's for the week; melt sn*w melt.
A few errands this am then it's onto the laundry room refresh for the next few days so no bench time of me.

Have a great day!! Be well.

Good morning,

Curt, thanks for opening and coffee.

Yesterday I finished applying sawtooth shingles to the post office, but not much else.

Have fun,

Rick, your photos reminded me how much I miss trips to Arizona.  I was traveling to Ft Huachuca for work a lot in the early '90s, and loved looking at the terrain.  "So this is what the world looks like without vegetation covering up the rocks...."

Down to the exercise machine and train room in a bit.  Hope I find some energy there, I've been dragging the last couple of days, along with both scheduled and unscheduled appointments, etc.  Wife asked, "Will you move your brush cleaning stuff from the powder room?"  "Yeah, as soon as I get down to the train room."

Temp in the teens but sunny  8) and will climb to 40oish with light wind today.  Lucky #13 with a positive attitude.

While the Doll went over to W. Lansing to see her(our) daughter I stuck around the 'crib' yesterday and got into the partially assembled bridge kit, worked 3+ hours on it and was making an assembly with two truss structures when the  >:(  >:(  >:( thing "rekitted" itself, prior owner's glue reached it end of life and I now have more parts than I started with.  The paper the instructions and diagrams are on is brittle and almost orange, making multiple trips to the copy function on my Epson.

My SPARTANS will be playing TomO's Badgers on primetime Fox, should be a good game,

The Doll's son in AZ hooked us up with YoutubeTV via his family plan last night and I was able to watch the twin qualification racing from Daytona on FS-1 we've not had and some of our hoops have been on there.  The 500 is Sunday. Picture quality was quite good.  Love/hate going on with the new LG TV.  The Doll managed to lose the preselect for the local news station she prefers.  Geek time. :-\ I've not even tried to learn how to run the darn thing....SmartTV...right... :'( My work at getting the Starlink up and running is about all the tech stuff I want to do.  Well, a couple projects on the RR but mostly not hi-tech.

Anyone in the Michigan area the once mighty Ann Arbor RR Club train show is this week in Saline at the same school.  Looking at the vendor list it looks to be about 65% of what it once was, no nat'l dealers as they used to have.  They quit coming when the club went to a 1 day show, now back to 2 days and it's still not recovered vendor wise $7/head entry but I think parking, if you can find some, is free.

Well, that's all I've got.  Be well all.  Enjoy the day. Triskaidekaphobia* not allowed :o

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt. Sorry you didn't get good sleep last night. It happens to me as well, but not often.

The day is mine so I'll be in the train shed most if not all of it.

Time to move to the bench.

Have a safe and healthy day everyone.

Good Morning Folks;

Sounds like a pretty good start to the day across the country. Our weather is like Curts as we are perhaps 40 miles away. Speaking of, sorry Curt, unfortunately I share your pain, at least one day a week, no fun at all. I usually just get up and try to read a book.  Today I am invited to see a layout in our area with a group of other modelers. Hopefully I will have photos to share. In the meantime I hope everyone enjoys the day.

Curt thanks for the coffee & breakfast.
Must be nice to see the landing!

Larry I go along with you had enough of the white stuff laying around.

Mike looking forward to the update.

Dave you better or there won't be any Valentine card for you!!

Karl I hope you can salvage the trestle.

Tom have fun in the train shed.

Jim I hope you get some photos to share with us.

Weather in South Jersey is sunny/33.  Later on 37.
We are tired of looking at frozen sn*w here.
We have to finish our grocery shopping this morning then the afternoon should be mine.

Everyone have a wonderful day!!  :)

Jerry I live too far away to see the actual landing, I saw the first stage with it's steering jets as it was coming down.
