Good Morning,

Sounds like everyone is having a productive day so enjoy.

It's official folks, the Laundry room is FINISHED. It was sorta like trying to paint a big closet only around vents and faucets but it's done.

It's a cloudy 40 with misty rain and really foggy; I guess it's the warm air and the cold snow. High is going to be 42 so They say. Not sure about the rest of the day so we'll just have to wait and see.

Have a great day!! Be well.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Currently 64F heading to 82F today. Yesterday I finished the individual walls for the Blue Sky building. Next up is gluing the 4 barn walls together. Probably no modeling stuff today since I have a lot of 1:1 things to do. :-\

Tomorrow we have a carpenter coming to the house to give an estimate on a new cabinet in the kitchen, then we're going out to eat for Dad's and daughter's birthday.

That's all I got.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning folks,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast.  Happy Birthday to your daughter and dad.

How is the rest of the gang?

It's a cloudy morning at 48°F, headed to 68°F this afternoon.  Nothing special is on the agenda.  I hope to continue work on the PO.

Have fun,
mike

Good morning, Curt, Mike, Larry and late risers.  We're still getting good local apples, so I put a bowl of Cortlands on the counter.  Complicated weather in the lower Merrimack Valley: About freezing, headed higher later. I can tell where the sun is and see patches of "mackerel sky", but rain/snow forecast after lunch.

The kid is off to school and I need to work on two more 1:1 track design projects using XTrackCad. Plus ordering materials for my wife's next house and my HO bridge project.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt.

Well, bowling sucked yesterday. We beat the other team scratch but lost to the handicap.

Both the biopsies came back positive for Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Today at 10Am I'll have the one on my left tri-cep removed with probably 6-8 sutures. March 3rd. the one on the leg will be removed. Seems like every four months I get the "Slice and Dice" treatment for these. I guess I should have used sun screen 70 years ago.

Anyway, probably no bench time today.

Have a safe and healthy day everyone.

Egypt was at the top of my wife's and my bucket list since we got married.  We've been twice.  This is from our first trip in 2005 (we did a round-the-world tour, when I scored a ticket from a United Airlines promotion.  Wife's ticket was paid for by UAL miles, back when miles were worth something, and most hotel stays were via hotel night points.):
image.jpeg
I'll have to see if I can find photos from the second trip, when I was a better photographer.  But this one is still pretty good.  We really enjoyed Egypt, and our tour company (https://www.museum-tours.com) was great.  We had the same 2 guides on both trips.

Meanwhile, back at the home front:  It's 35 heading to 43, with a chance of showers turning to snow showers as it cools off down to 21 overnight.  Good maple sugar weather.  Today is our monthly lunch group meeting, when I'm back, I might cut the hole for the farmhouse into the plaster.

45owith rain.  The SNOW is GONE :o but it's stormy with rain and hazy visibility.   8) Sun and 60othis afternoon.

I had toyed with the thought of trekking up to Northern Command. But I just looked at the radar then the Bridge Cam...IMG_0908.jpeg
Hi Wind and NO Visibility...farther West there are Blizzard Warnings... ::) Not good conditions even for the natives.... Michigan started putting GREEN alights with the yellow on Road Crew trucks 4-5 years ago, seems they work well.  People still ignore them like before, but still they do light up well.

Overall here, the warmer weather today is just a nasty tease as hi wind and cold returns by the weekend.  Spring instability has hit.

ACLTom good luck with the slice and dice.  It is good you keep on top of it.  I dealt with a bull headed 90 yr old RN that knew more than the doctors, too young and horribly female, and put off dealing with that stuff until it was a major issue with a dozen trips to the UofM in A2and their rock star plastic surgeon to fix it all.

I'm going to work on the layout I guess today if I can get the old bones working.  ;)

Everyone have a fine day. Safe and sane.

Dave, I'm really enjoying the travelogue.

Karl, have fun working on the layout.

Current temperate is -4c (25f) with blue skies.  No modeling last night as I spent time doing some research for a future project.  Not sure what tonight will bring.

Have a great day everyone.

Ouch Tom;

I had that form of skin cancer years ago on my nose, it was no fun but I was able to tell everyone I was an abused husband, problem was no one corrected me!

I hit a milestone on my resin printed bridge project and wanted to share. The screen shot shows all the parts that make up the bridge, and all have been printed. I am now assembling and soon painting. There is a walkway that is part of the bridge still needing designing as well as the lift bridge operators building but today was a good day. I have decided not to motorize the bridge, just not sure I could pull it off and don't want to ruin what I've made.

Afternoon all,

Thanks for the well wishes.

Slice and dice went well. In an out in less than an hour. 12 sutures in all and I'm at the "puter" and bench.
