Weather in South Jersey is sunny/41.  Later on 46.
I need to pour a plaster floor for my machine shop.
And make a decision on my windows.  Wood or plastic.

Grey monotone and moderate chill in Michigan.  First round of NCAA is on TNT, not on our list. 

Took the Doll to Grand Rapids yesterday, nice steak dinner on the way home.  Been awhile. 

Doing book keeping, etc., this morning.

The morning beverages are all set. Breakfast is western omelet, Hash browns along with crispy bacon and/or pan sausages.

What's on your agenda for the day.

It's currently 26 with a high of 47; melt baby melt. Have the usual Friday am errands plus a couple of 1:1 things to take care of this afternoon. In between I'm going to start thinking about my next project.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Currently 56F and heading to 77F later.

Yesterday didn't happen as expected. I went to change Dad's leg bandage and saw the infection was spreading despite 3 days of oral antibiotics. At the ER they started IV antibiotics and admitted him. I'll find out today for how long.

On top of that son and I dropped his car off at the shop to fix the mirror. He had a appointment today at 0930. It must have been a slow day because they replaced it within an hour, so then we had to go back to get it.

Needless to say no modeling yesterday and most likely today.

When I made it home I found Ti the skunk enjoying my chair.

Curt thanks for breakfast but I'll pass. Pam is taking me out to IHOP for a senior special. Sorry to hear about your dad. When it rains it pours as they say.

I'll be in the train shed awhile and then some yard work. I did get the grass edged and cut yesterday.

It's a sunny morning at 41°F, headed to 77°F.  I didn't make it upstairs yesterday, just listened to music mostly.  Groceries and house cleaning this morning, then maybe upstairs this afternoon.

The Polish city of Wroclaw was pretty much flattened in WWII (German name Breslau) and rebuilt afterwards.  Across the old town you can find these bronze gnomes.  Here are some of them:

This afternoon I have a cataract surgery evaluation.  I'm guessing this time I'll "pass" and get scheduled for surgery.  So not a lot of Training today.  But yesterday I glued down a grass mat behind the farm.  So later today I'll look at that and see if I like how it looks.

How's the rest of the crew today?

Yesterdays hike was a tough one.
11 miles and 1,532' of EG.
The miles and climbing wasn't the issue.
The higher altitude, trailhead at 9,200', was and most of the climbing was on the way back after I'd already done 6+ miles.
It just means I have to do more hiking at high altitudes to get in better shape.

Some good news.
Remember I posted that I couldn't find the videos from my visit at the Northern Nevada RR?
Well, I found them and one of these days I'll have to edit and post them.

Gym and REI today to spend the $100 gift certificate I have.

Current temperature is -4c (25f) and overcast.  Worked on the building last night and I got so excited I misread the instructions.    I thought that the inside of the building got siding, but alas I was too hopeful.  I figured out the mistake after I sided the 2 long walls and realized there wasn't enough siding to do both the inside and outside (grrrrrrrrr).  Not an issue as I'll build it as a mirror image of the original.  Later today I'll be packing the car with my modules as we have a modular setup this weekend.

First day of Spring and the daffodils are already out and flowered here.
One of the grandsons is here for the weekend.
Right now he's working.

My son just cent this from the UP. It's from Mich-28 between Soo and Newberry. He's headed to Newberry for snowmobiling with friends.
