Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt, going have to check out your update.

Larry, hope you make it to the bench between running around.

Dave, hope the tree making goes well for you today.

Rick, hope you made the 6am shuttle this morning.

Current weather is overcast with a temperature of -1c (30f).  looks like we will have another cold day before it starts warming up again on Wednesday.  No modeling yesterday, hopefully I'll get some in today.

Have a great day everyone.

Looks like the main contractors for my layout, Dave.

Sun at the moment in cold Michigan, mid 30s.  Forecast looks mixed with chill the over riding trend.  Warm, maybe in a week or so.  Lots of drying out and apparently road rebuilding this week in the area.

Had a nice enough Easter, good visit with the Geek Squad and heard from all family members.  No work on layout stuff was accomplished.

Little to add for today.  Sure a lot of early birds this morning.

Be well, all.

Jerry

Morning everyone

Curt thanks for the coffee & breakfast.

Larry hope you make the bench.

Great pictures Dave.

Ron hope you make the bench today.
Sounds cold to me!!

Morning Karl glad to hear Easter was a nice day for you.

Weather in South Jersey sunny/44.  Later on 56.
I just wish the wind would stop blowing so dam hard.
Easter was a great day with the family.  And the traffic wasn't that bad.  Surprize there!!  :o
I just had my 6 month ultrasound done this morning.  I have an aortic  aneurysm.

Hopefully some bench time later in the day.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Good morning crew,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast.

Everyone, thanks for the well wishes.  My right eye is swollen shut this morning, but the pain is minimal.  Tomorrow I'm scheduled for the first cataract surgery in the left eye.  I hope they go through with the surgery.

Have fun,
mike

Rick

Still morning here, but good afternoon to all you east of me.

Just finished the hike.
6 miles and 1,975' EG.
It was much easier to do this time than when I did it three years ago.
I did catch the 6AM bus and the only video I shot was at Skeleton Point where I turned around.

Have a great day everyone.

Rick, when you go on one of these hikes, do you leave a note in the car indicating when you left and expect to return?  I do worry about anyone hiking alone, if there's an accident, how do they know to look for you?

Mike, they might not go through with your surgery, if they think you won't have reliable vision out of either eye...

That sucks Mike. Didn't realize you were having surgery.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, OJ and soda.

Currently raining here and supposed to continue for most of the day so no morning walk today. Just sent MOH off enroute to the vet with the 3 animals.

Nothing special going on today at the house besides chores and workbench time. Yesterday I built the framework and legs for the platform. It was surprisingly easy to build, just a little fiddly at times. Later in the day I realized I forgot to color the wood first...OOPS! I guess I'll use Hunterline stain as the base color. Silly me.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt.  It is raining across town also. Been off and on all night.

Mike sorry to hear about your fall and black eye. Hope you recovery soon and the swelling is down this morning.

We have bowling at noon and we have 3 weeks left in the season. I'm ready for a break.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Good morning Curt, Tom and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt.

Going to keep it short today as it's surgery day for the Mrs and I'll be taking her to the hospital shortly.  I did some work on the Henderson modules yesterday and it now has street lights.  I posted an update on my module thread.

Have a great day everyone.

Rick

Good morning everyone.

Currently 43 at the Grand Canyon, sunny and 70 later.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
You're making good progress at the bench.

Ron, all the best to your wife for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.

ACLTom, good luck bowling.

Mike, hope the swelling is down and you're not in pain.

Dave, no, I haven't done that.
Most of the hikes I do are well traveled, so I'm not out there totally alone.
In those cases where there isn't anyone else on the trail my phone is able to connect to a satellite to text for help.

Jerry, hope it's all good news with the ultrasound.

Karl, glad you enjoyed your Easter.

Larry, more bench time today?

How's everyone else?

Nothing planned for today.
I'll work on the pictures I took yesterday.

Here's a short video when I was at Skeleton Point yesterday.
This is where I turned around and headed back up.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and morning meal. Enjoy your time at the bench.

Tom good luck bowling and I'm sure you're more than ready for a break.

Rick enjoy your relaxing day and keep warm. Hopefully some bench time today.

Ron good luck to the Mrs on her surgery.

Mike heal up soon.

What's your plans for the day.

It's 31 with a high of only 34 today. Received an inch of white crap overnight but starting tomorrow it's going back up in the 50's & 60's the rest of the week. Our Daughter finally went to the Doc yesterday and got a Rx for some antibiotics; I figured she was really sick since she canceled on Easter Dinner last Sunday. Figured out the size of the diorama so hopefully I have a piece of foam large enough. I do have to get my hairs cut later this am which will take a whole 15 minutes.

Have an enjoyable day!! Be well and heal up.

Temp is  in the mid 20s with  8) sun. It will stay chilly, maybe make it to 40.

Ran the Doll over to GR yesterday for some of her special ground decaf Michigan Maple coffee. I stopped  :o at a LHS and dropped $80 on knife blades, a couple bottles of Tamiya. Two horn castings, and a sprayer and a bottle of Woodland Scenics spray scenery cement like "What's Neat" guy Patterson uses. It ain't :-\ (neat)it's thin and runny and the sprayer sucks. Back to what's served me well. Wet water in a mist spray and dilute Elmer's with dish soap in a drip bottle. Home brew trumps commercial goo.

Basketball is over. All you need is money, lots of it, to buy winning players. "Student Athletes " bah...the starting lineup of the winning team were all bought off the transfer portal. Millions $$$. AAA for the nba.

Ron, best to your wife.  Mike, EZ into your eyes.  :o

Pest control and layout duties on tap for today.

Be well.

Rick
