Here's the apple orchard.  I started by doing the back and right parts of the (Woodland Scenics) fences.  I'm using a 1/32" drill bit in that pencil rotary tool.  I needed to do some cutting of both fenceposts and 'drilling' into the scenery to get the fence to fit along the terrain.

I think these are Noch apple trees, there's 4 trees on a 'sprue' to represent a commercial orchard's planting.

Then I cut the trees from the sprue.  There's not much trunk, so I carefully held the tree trunk in pliers and used a needle file to separate tree trunk from sprue:

Then I dressed the bottom with a fingernail file, pricked a pilot hole, and drilled #67 for .032 (soft steel) wire.  I used Beacon fast setting (solvent) glue, and where the hole broke through the trunk, I added thick CA and let that dry.  Then I drilled the holes with 1/32" bit in the pencil rotary tool and planted them.

I still want to add tufts around the posts and along the fence line and do some more scenery outside of the orchard.  But overall, this came out good.
