Thanks for the follow up photos, Tom.  Some great shots there.

My mistake - I thought the roof piece was a pyramid with a flat bottom.  I went back to the start of your thread and relooked at the photos.  There is a slight problem with thickness, with the material provided in the kit probably being a scale 5 1/2" thick, while the prototype looks to be 1" plus roofing material - but I don't think you would notice.  I quite like the idea of rafters with a 3x2" running along underneath.  Something quite different that I haven't seen before.

The thickness on the roof panels is 5 inches as you said. A bit thick for a model.

I'll let the roofing paper hang over a little and this should help disquise the thickness some.
