Building some suburban housing for a scene near Clay Center


Branchline Trains Suburban House with Garage, a kit of an Aladdins Catalog house.


The parts.


Painted in different grays.


Assembling walls.


Windows and doors in place.


One of the locations where several suburban houses will be trackside.

Thanks , took me about 3 hours, needs some weathering and a bit of lighting up , although it's not as dark as in the photo's.

Glad you said that.  The structure appeared pretty dark in the photos.   It looks like the Munster's House.   ;)

I like it Jan. I really enjoyed those Laser Art kits for N scale. The brick foundations and roofing sheets look kind of dull, but they "light up" with a little dry brushing or (in your case) chalks.


Nice job. Good to see the layout moving again.
