Thanks John and Jeff, I have to many hobbies , I think modeling will only become nr. 1 when I am retired , that's in 10 years.

Keep working on you layout as much as you can - retirement will be here before you know it.  Your making good progress.

Jan:

Growing older is part of the game plan.  :) 8) I'll be 76 on February 2. My wife and I have the same birthday. I still feel much younger and aging gracefully is part of my plan. BTW, I went from HO scale to N scale in 2000 and have been enjoying N scale immensely ever since.

Built a small depot for the Layout , it's a Blair Line kit of a prototype Rock Island depot , don't know which of the towns it will serve yet. Built in a day , the roof needs a touch or two to finish it.

Jan,

Nice job on the small station. I really like the view of the photo below. The flats look great.

I like the look of the station; did they provide a prototype photo?  Their roof looks like some kind of roll material.

Jan,

That is a neat station. Were the light strips on the roof part of the design?

Thanks Gregory, Marty and James

I'm not sure what you mean with light strips? The roof is peel and stick paper included in the kit.

On the roofing there are lighter horizontal red lines at the edges of the peel and stick roof materials. I'm not sure if it is the thin edge of the peel and stick material or just artifacts from taking the photos.

Ah , the peel and stick was white and I sprayed the roof from above , thanks for pointing this out Marty, I still have to weather the roof so I'll be sure to take care of that.
