Good Morning Folks;

The clubhouse is open and coffee ready. Woke up to beautiful weather, unlike most of the country! It is already in the 70's going to low 80's. Maybe a storm later but I doubt it. After to hard freezes we had iun Central Florida it is nice. I need to begin the trimming and pruning today of the bushes as most died back from the cold. We may have lost one of the Palm trees as well. Once that is done for the day I will be back at the work beench tinkering and working on something I am sure.

I hope everyone has a great day and those in the way of the weather stay safe apparently tornados will be abundent today in the middle of the country.

Sad day in Michigan

Tornadoes popped up out of nowhere and killed 4 folks and did tremendous damage in the SW corner of the state. :(

We were lucky here, just a blip of the lights with a nearby lightning strike.  :o

Heavy rain and flooding closer to home as well.

60 this morning in MI and very unstable feeling.

Stay safe all.

Sorry to hear about the tornado in Michigan.  I heard about severe storms in Oklahoma (where they're expected...)

It's just above freezing, drizzly with a bit of fog in SE NH.  It should warm up a bit more later, but remain cloudy for the 4:00 Scotch Club session.  In the meantime, I'll do a bit on the boxcar kit.

Afternoon all,

Sorry to hear about the tornadoes in Michigan, Karl, but I'm glad you got through it unscathed.

I'm sitting at the workbench pondering what paints/colors to use to paint several figures.

Have a great one!

What I remember when we came back from vacation in India, was how bland and boring everyone's clothing was here....

I'm contemplating what color to paint chickens.

Nowhere near as severe as the storms that claimed lives in Michigan last night, but just had about a 10 minute storm here and a tornado warning for the southern part of the county. When the dog and I came in from the walk around the yard, I had a tick, the dog had two and when I was looking at my sweatshirt found three more. Sure could use about 3 inches of snow cover again lol.

Good evening, all. 40s all day here with thick overcast. Clearing and warmer forecast for Sunday, but no bare ground yet. Maybe by midweek. I've never lived in the Midwest but the first week of March seems early for thunderstorms, let alone tornadoes.

No modeling today, spent the day helping a couple of people from the East Troy trolley museum take parts off CSS&SB #32, which got so heavily damaged on the way to Seashore that it never turned a wheel. Drifts are still knee-deep in many parts of York County, ME.
