George changed the location of the John Allen Engine House and changed it to a one stall facility.

I want everyone to understand that the pictures on this thread are from George Sellios' FSM web site and are the work of Tara Sellios. See http://www.finescaleminiatures.com

The purpose of including them here is to get a thread started on "what's new on the F&SM". I hope that others will use this thread to post new pictures of the F&SM as George makes changes to his "almost completed layout". I have never seen one of those.  ;)
I discussed posting them here with George - in fact he mentioned them as the latest - what's new on the F&SM.  George is in the middle of his kit production time of year and is not working on the layout right now.

John,

I knew you were taking them off the FSM site but was just thanking you for sharing them here. I'm seen them on the FSM site as well. Thanks again.

No issues  - I just read a few of the comments above and wanted to make sure proper credit was given for the source of the pictures.

I confirmed with George that he has shown a cardboard markup to some of his guests that he is playing with for a potential new kit.  I repeat no commitment but playing with the idea. Wow - just like being retired. I got the following detail - it's not a structure currently on the F&SM.

I had a nice long talk with George and he has decided that he is going to do another kit. He is real excited about it - he will just say it's something different and new and the cardboard markup has been well received at his open houses.  He is currently working on the directions when he is not filling orders for his current kit. The sales are going well for the new kit - on pace to be another sell out.

On the retirement issue, George asked me how I liked retirement and I told him I love it.  I said I get up every day and do something a love to do.
George's response was " well you know John I feel the same way about building my kits".  It sounds to me like George has found what he wants to do in retirement.  At least for now.
