Jerry thank you so much. I think that's what drew me to dioramas because you can view it from all 4 sides as opposed to a layout where you're stuck with 1 viewing angle; plus you can have more variety in what you model.

Been going back and working on little things so I don't forget anything; couldn't possibly be old age sneaking up on me...nah.This guy is my 3rd LP and is busy at work at the bench.



The push broom and gas can are items from my stash box. The hand operated drill and oil barrel on a stand along with the "oops pail" are from Sierra West. I originally wanted to put the drill on a post in the front area but there was no way my mitts were going to fit a post in place so I pivoted and placed it under the eave on this side of the opening. Drill and oil barrel were colored with chalks and clear alcohol with the rest of the items painted and/or weathered. I also added some metal shavings on the drill plate and floor.



I opted not to place a LP in the saw shed but I did adds lots of real sawdust and 3 boards stacked up on the end roller to look like someone had been hard at work. Now I have to do some serious "canoodling" and figure out the remaining scenery, what cameo scenes I want to make, and where to place everything.Once I figure out the cameo scenes to include I'll build each one then play "cameo roulette" to get everything where I want them....should be fun. Larry your first photo is outstanding. Who made the figure in that photo? You did an excellent job painting it.

Curt thank you so much. All the figures are 3D prints from Rusty Rail. I do spray paint them with a grey primer first then I go ahead and use chalks & clear alcohol to "paint" them. When dried I dry brush them with a darker color from the base color to help bring out the fine details. The only paint used after priming is a flesh tone paint for the skin areas.
