Morning all,

Only in the 60s this week, and no rain predicted.

I need to mow the yard today and will take both cars to the car wash.  Tuesday is "bargain day" there, as their usual "better" wash is $21 bucks.  The cars both really need the under body spray after the winter, though.

I spent an hour yesterday cleaning out a linen closet looking for a can of paint we used in the bathroom.  Didn't find the paint.  But threw out 1 1/2 large trash bags of stuff.  The best find was some outdated kid's cough medicine from 1993.
My wife always says ,"I'll clean that out when I feel like it", but apparently it's been over 30 years since she last felt like it.  I will continue the quest for the paint today.

Overnight storms morphed into cold and grey. Cooling as the day progresses.  The week and next will be cold, high in 50s.

Mowed yesterday.  Front needs it again, not happening unless I dress for snow plowing.

Be well all.

Jerry

Morning everyone

A nice sunny Spring Day here in South Jersey temp at 64 later.

That is really a funny story.  ;D

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Afternoon all,

The only places in the house my wife hasn't cleaned/rearranged are my work areas.  :)  I'll be in trouble if she ever sets her sights on those.  :o

Been slacking off recently but the good news is the hip is improving. Not 100% better but not nearly as painful as it was. Guess I'll pull out the workbench this afternoon and try to get back in the groove.

Have a great one!

Good evening, all. The shore of the Gulf of Maine was sunny but cool; Seashore didn't quite reach 60F.  I spent most of the day working on our Double Slip switch's rail joints, finishing with ballast and hand-tamping two new timbers. There are six more at the S end I'll work on tomorrow.  Taco Tuesday for dinner at a nearby Mexican place, now a quick look at the forum, shut the chickens in, collect eggs and start on my paperwork. Forecast says rain late tomorrow afternoon through Thursday.
